Reviews

I thought that I was going to download the book and go back and read it at a later date. On the contrary, I read the introduction and could not stop reading the book for at least forty minutes after that! This book is a great read and resource. The author not only shares her story of adversity and unexpected circumstances, but shares how she was able to triumph over them and what you can do persevere through your own personal “crash”. Congratulations to you and much continued success!

Just read your book and I wanted you to know I am very proud of you! As one of your former supervisors, I always knew you had something special to share. You have always made a positive impact on the lives of the residents/patients you cared for while working as a nurse, but look at the positive effect you are making in the lives of those that have read or will read your book. Continue to aspire to share your gift with others and see how God will continue to bless you. Little do people know what you go through until you share a part of yourself. Love Ya!

I started reading this book and thought I would finish it in 2 days. 1 hour later I had read the entire book and started implementing the information that was listed. Chere’s decision and testimony is reflective of countless others that have been challenged with the same or similar situations. I honestly appreciated her ability to transform her situation into a victory, then help someone else to recognize or prevent a crash that could potentially alter their lives. This is a great resource that won’t require a lot of time, but will make a great impact on the reader.

When we are NOT in the midst of the storm, we have all the answers. However, when the storm comes our way, we sometimes panic because we don’t know what to do or we forget what needs to be done. This book is a great resource to have around. Stressed or not, this book outlines very practical coping techniques that often go overlooked when we are faced with difficult situations. I can appreciate Chere’s transparent journey. She walks us through her journey while inspiring us to get smart because STRESS is real. Whether we are stressed or know people that are stressed, this book is extremely helpful. My advice is form a group, get your prayer partner, accountability partner or friend and read this book together. It’s worth the read and the investment to be prepared before the storm comes. Get the book and be triumphant!

The Crash That Altered My Life is a must read! In this book, the author is genuine and transparent in sharing her struggles and her triumphs. She made me feel like I can overcome anything. Who would think that after settling into married life for so many years that the author would be able to make a comeback from an unexpected divorce and raising two young sons on her own. But she did it. The strength and determination she showed in her life makes me know I can do anything I put my mind to. GREAT reading material!! Get your copy today!

I’ve been blessed to meet and know many people over my life. One person in particular is Chere Cofield, author of The Crash That Altered My Life. This book is very telling, extremely transparent, and completely informative. What you’ll discover as you read this book is how transforming and life changing a single crash can have on your life. Chere reveals how the things of life can take you out of your place and set you on a whole new course.

This isn’t your typical book on stress management. It’s a book on turning tragedy to triumph, overcoming obstacles in the midst of situations that are compounded by other things that blindside you. It’s a book that reveals how this young author’s whole life focus shifted in a whole new direction once she learned to apply the very skills that were already in her goodie bag.

If you’re facing challenges, hardships, under insurmountable stresses and pressure, this book is definitely one that will both encourage you, equip you to face and handle them, and may even give you some strategies for moving from where you are to where you’d like to be. If you know someone who is facing some life struggles and it doesn’t seem that they are handling it well, this book will definitely offer some ways to not just cope and deal, but also reduce and channel those things to bring out the best in them.
